SaniGLAZE Video End-Slide Generator
A self-service web app that turned a manual video-production request into a few clicks, so franchise members could add their own contact end slide to brand videos while branding stayed consistent across the network.
Franchise owners needed marketing video they could use in their own markets, with their own contact information. Corporate video was produced centrally and carried only national branding, so getting a local version meant a manual request and a wait in a queue. The same task was repeated across the whole network.
The real problem wasn’t video editing. It was a repeatable operational task that didn’t scale with the number of franchise locations. It sat between the brand standard the franchisor needed to protect and the local flexibility franchisees needed to market well. Without a controlled process, there was also a risk that franchises would make their own versions with inconsistent branding.
The goal was to turn that request into a guided, self-service workflow that a franchise member could finish without design or video skills, and to build the brand standard into the output instead of checking it afterwards.
Constraints
Section titled “Constraints”- No design or video skills required. The common case had to take only a few clicks.
- Brand-consistent by default. Every end slide uses the same branded template, and franchise members only control their contact details and how long the slide stays on screen.
- Flexible when needed. Franchises with their own footage or contact details could upload them instead of using the defaults.
- One finished file. The output had to be a single download, ready to post, with no editing afterwards.
Architecture
Section titled “Architecture”The workflow has four steps:
- Choose a video. Pick one from a library of approved, server-hosted corporate videos, or upload your own.
- Choose contact information. Select the stored franchise details, or enter or upload your own.
- Set the end slide. The tool builds a personalized contact slide on the branded template, and the user sets how long it stays on screen.
- Merge and download. The server joins the source video and the end slide into one finished file for the user to download.
There are two paths through it on purpose. A quick-select path (a hosted corporate video plus the stored franchise information) handles the most common request in a few clicks. Full upload options stay available for everything else, so the corporate standard is the default and local customization still fits inside the same template.
